An Arsenal Gun Trust™ is a highly specialized trust designed by Arsenal Attorneys™ for firearms ownership, possession, and estate planning. It prioritizes the following goals:

For NFA and Ordinary Firearms

The Arsenal Gun Trust™ is designed for all legal firearms, including firearms regulated by the National Firearms Act ("NFA"), where applicable. NFA firearms include suppressors/silencers, short barrel rifles (SBR) and shotguns, and fully automatic firearms. Our design helps clients avoid the need for the fingerprints and photographs of other people appointed to their trusts (see ATF Form 5320.23 known as 'Form 23'). Depending on the client's state law, their Arsenal Gun Trust™ may continue beyond their lifetime so their trusts effectively 'grandfather' future generations. Thus, the same trust and NFA registrations (i.e. tax stamps), would continue--without the need for new taxes, fingerprints, or photographs. For NFA and ordinary firearms, the Arsenal Gun Trust™ provides crucial guidance to help successors and beneficiaries obey the law, including the need to transfer firearms properly and safely. Further, our design includes important contingency plans to handle unexpected circumstances or situations in which a successor or beneficiary is ineligible or unsafe to possess firearms.

Do you already have a gun trust?

If you already have a gun trust from our law firm or from elsewhere, we could draft a 'restatement' of your trust. A restatement would be a complete revision of your trust using our new Arsenal Gun Trust™ design. As part of the restatement you could make various updates, including an address change or a change to the people appointed in the trust. The restatement of your trust would still be your same trust, so existing tax stamps for NFA firearms would remain valid.
