Engraving a Lower Receiver

Our Arsenal Gun Trust clients increasingly request BATFE permission to manufacture or make an NFA firearm. Most often these situations concern the building of a short-barreled rifle (SBR). A manufacturer must identify themselves by engraving their name on the firearm they have created. In the case of an SBR, particularly one built on the AR15 platform, it can sometimes be challenging to find space available for this engraving.  We wanted to share a video demonstrating how the engraving could be located in the trigger well.

We provide clients extensive guidance in this process, including the preparation of a Form 1, the specific legal requirements for the engraving, and practical help, including the placement of engraving and the best name of a trust considering these purposes.

Special thanks go to our friend Jeff May of US Tactical for providing us this video of his gunsmithing skills and capabilities.
